The project of the restaurant was born from the passion of Guido Ciatti for the world of Tuscan wine and Tuscan. The restaurant's goal is to create an elegant and comfortable environment, where one can relax and be pampered by our kitchen.
The internal room is elegant and welcoming, as well as the atmosphere, while from the large outdoor veranda it is possible to admire the panorama of our farm near Florence.

A building rich in history,
a furnace built

"La Fornace" is a historic building on the outskirts of Mugello, just 18 km from the center of Florence, to recover it we have undergone a renovation lasted six years. Every detail has been taken care of in every detail in order to enhance its charm. At 3 km from the building, in a locality called Pratolino, there was a splendid Medici Villa built by Francesco I de' Medici. The important Florentine family had commissioned the architect Buontalenti to create a park and enrich it with waterfalls, fountains and incredible water games. To realize the project it was necessary to bring water from the source of Montesenario to the Medici Villa of Pratolino and so it was that Buontalenti designed the "Fornace".
